MAKE INTENTIONS – NOT RESOLUTIONS!

A 2007 TD Ameritrade survey reports that 65% of women bail on their fitness goals within 30 days!  One of the ways to combat resolution rejection is to set an intention for your fitness goals.   Here’s how it works:

A resolution by definition is a decision to behave in a certain manner.  Sounds kind of dull and boring, right?

An intention is a guiding principle that lead you toward a specific goal of your own choosing.  I don’t know about you but that has a little more juice to it!

When I’m thinking about health goals I focus on what the benefits will be to me.  What I want to get out of my workouts these days is different than what I wanted in my 20’s and 30’s.

What do you really want?  Make it real to you and remind yourself of what you stand to gain if you stay with it.

I wanted to thank you for being the inspiration in my life, to help me realize I could make a change. I would not have had the idea to work from home if I hadn't coached with you!
